I'm husband to a lovely woman, dad to another lovely woman, and professional researcher in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. I grew up in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, and have been in the DC area more than 20 years.

My professional details are here. One part of that I'm particularly proud of is this. I work hard every day to continue to produce work that good, and every now and then I come close. I like diving into research to find answers to hard questions that will make people's professional or personal lives better, and feel pretty darn lucky to get paid money to do that.
